Our Story
Comfort Keepers has been helping seniors live safely and independently at home since 1998. Our Peoria location is part of that national network, bringing the same brand promise to families throughout Central Illinois: helping seniors thrive through everyday positive moments, meaningful connection, and a more purposeful life — a mission we call Elevating the Human Spirit®.
We know that inviting a caregiver into your home is a deeply personal decision. That's why we take the time to understand each client's routines, personality, and preferences before matching them with a caregiver — not just a medical checklist, but a genuine fit.
Our Approach to Care
Every Comfort Keeper is bonded, insured, and covered by workers' compensation, so families never have to worry about the "what ifs." Caregivers are screened and trained before ever stepping into a client's home, and we maintain a reliable backup system so care is never interrupted.
Care plans are never one-size-fits-all. We build each plan around the individual — adjusting as needs change, and pairing clients with caregivers based on compatibility, not just availability.
